A diaspora-led advocacy movement protecting Amhara lives and heritage through testimony, resistance, and cultural solidarity.

Who Are London Fano?

We are a London-based collective rooted in the Amhara community. London Fano supports the Fano movement—a grassroots defence force born from the protests of 2016–2020 and now at the forefront of resisting federal intervention in the Amhara region.

Our Mission & Activities

We stand to amplify truth, defend dignity, and mobilise action:

  • Amplifying Voices: Sharing testimonies of drone strikes, arrests, and displacement.
  • Political Lobbying: Urging UN, EU, IMF, and UK officials to act on Amhara persecution.
  • Cultural Unity: Promoting the Amhara language, tradition, and pride through community events.
